Autumn Light at Lake O’Hara

Autumn in the Rockies is pure magic — especially at Lake O’Hara. The golden larches, mirrored lakes, and shifting mountain light make it feel like the whole world has turned to gold. In October we spent three long days chasing that light up and down the valleys, and though we returned to the hut each night completely exhausted, it was the best kind of tired — the kind that comes from being fully immersed in beauty.

A heartfelt thank you to the Alpine Club of Canada for the cozy hut, and to Yoho National Park for keeping those incredible trails in such great shape.
